Smother Mother

Jeff Jegl and his family stopped over yesterday for a visit. As we were talking, Jeff introduced me to the term "Smother Mother": an overprotective, indulgent mother. I thought this was a Jegl-ism, but after googling the term, I learned there are groups of psychologist that analyze this as a serious condition.
