12 degrees outside. 68 degrees inside. Shadow has cuddled in old brown all day long. Katie likes her pink fleece jacket! Bryan likes his cappuccino! Ashley likes her morning coffee--and the automatic starter on the coffee maker!
Tonight would be a good night for chicken and dumpling soup. Too bad we don't have any celery around the house...maybe I'll make some soup on Friday!

It was fun reading your blog. Yeah, I totally can't believe that comment from Lowery's benediction. Why do people think only white people are racist? And when they think that, they themselves are racist I believe. In Memphis there was a ladies conference for black females only. Do you know how upset people would have been if there was a ladies conference for white ladies only?
Katie is so cute! Hope you're staying warm! School was canceled today and for tomorrow too. You would laugh...it's not that bad out.
Hi Ruth, thanks for your comment. I know what you mean regarding the conference; on radios and TV you constantly heard about conferences for blacks only, for Vietnemease only, for Hispanic only...but the only time something was talked about as "white only" also included the branding of "supremacist!"
